The Post Office has launched a mobile banking service for its savings account holders. The post office issued a circular saying that the facility has been started from October 15. This feature will make it easier to manage the post office's smaller savings scheme like time deposit, Kisan development letter, National Savings Certificate etc.

Now a new feature has been launched at the post office. Under this, the post office savings account holder will be able to easily do all his work at home.
In fact, the Department of Post has launched a mobile banking service for post office savings account holders. With this facility, it will be easy for the account holders to manage the post office's Small Savings Scheme Kisan Development Letter, National Savings Certificate etc.

Apart from this, details of account balance, recurring deposit loan etc. can be seen. Not only this, mobile banking can also download transaction history and other types of information.
It may be mentioned here that mobile banking facility is already available for India Post Payments Bank Savings Account.
However, the savings account holders will have to download the India Post Mobile Banking App from Google Play Store for this feature.
According to Post Office Secretary AN Nanda,
The Post Office is providing services through its network of 1,55,000 post offices. In the form of savings account schemes, the department has opened 1.47 lakh girls' prosperity scheme accounts for girls.
He informed that Post Office is trying to provide quality civic center services to the customers through 13,352 Aadhaar Centers, 420 Post Office Passport Service Centers and the Digital Advancement of Rural Post Office for New India.
